Creating Community Learning Together (CCLT6)
Learner Development SIG Online Get-Together
Looking toward CCLT6
Sunday, November 1st 2020
14:30 – 17:00
As you might have seen, the call for contributions for the LD-SIG Online Conference – Creating Community Learning Together (CCLT) 6 is now out. CCLT is an informal conference where participants can share their Learner Development research in a positive environment. Another unique element of CCLT is the number of student-led presentations where students share their learner development stories. You can find details of the event and the form to submit a contribution, https://ld-sig.org/events/creating-community-learning-together-6/ .
For our final get-together of the year, we would like to take this opportunity to focus on CCLT6. If you would like to discuss possible contributions or find out more details about the event from the organizers, please come along. Of course, there will also be ample opportunity to discuss your learner development interests as well.
As this is an online meeting, members from all over Japan are welcome to join, not just the Tokyo area. We also welcome teachers from diverse teaching contexts – including elementary school, junior high school, senior high school, university, distance learning & graduate studies, and language school settings – and teachers teaching languages other than English.
We plan to hold the meeting using the Zoom platform. However, many of you may have heard that Zoom has been having issues with privacy and so-called ‘Zoom-bombing’. Therefore, we are not including the access link to the meeting in this message. If you would like to join the meeting, please send us a message at the following address by Friday the 30th of October and we will send you the access link to the zoom meeting:
Also follow our Twitter account at: @JALTLDSIG to get up-to-date information and take part in further discussions of the topics we discuss in the meeting.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
